Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years restaurant management experience, preferably in fine dining or high-end hospitality
- Proficiency in using technology and software relevant to restaurant operations
- Strong multitasking abilities and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership qualities and ability to foster a positive team environment
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant management
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards
- Familiarity with restaurant management software such as Google Suites, Toast Point-of-Sale, Open Table, and 7Shifts
- Ability to motivate and manage staff effectively
- Experience in handling customer service issues and complaint resolution
- Capability to analyze sales and inventory data
- Flexible availability for various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Deliver superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently to customer complaints if needed
- Organize and supervise shifts ensuring productivity standards are met by all staff members
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of Geordie’s staffing needs
- Prepare schedules and ensure that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts
- Open and close Geordie’s restaurant by overseeing and assisting in the set-up and break down of the restaurant
- Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example as restaurant supervisor
- Reinforce service knowledge through staff education and trainings
- Estimate consumption, forecast requirements, and maintain inventory
- Ability to analyze sales data to enhance revenue, control costs, and cut waste
- Provide feedback to staff members and coach to maintain service standards
- Maintain and count monthly bar inventory
- Track compliance with sanitation, safety rules and regulation
- Able to take direction as well as delegate tasks accordingly
- Available to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Assist the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with various tasks and projects as needed
