- Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance protocols
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving furniture
- Willingness to adhere to safety and infection control standards

Job Qualifications
- Prior experience with floor care equipment preferred
- Knowledge of various floor care machines including automatic floor machines, battery and cord burnishers, extractors, rotary floor machines, riding floor scrubbers and riding vacuums preferred
- Ability to follow safety and infection control protocols
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Job Duties
- Complete major floor cleaning including stripping and refinishing, shower scrubbing, shampooing, extracting and burnishing
- Operate and maintain automatic floor machines, burnishers, extractors and other floor care equipment
- Adhere to safety and infection control policies including OSHA requirements, chemical handling, PPE use and emergency procedures
- Perform additional department functions such as linen removal, trash pickup, stocking supplies and removing confidential containers
- Conduct special projects including changing curtains, washing windows and walls, moving furniture and organizing storage areas
- Maintain cleaning supplies, equipment and environmental closets in a clean and organized manner
- Demonstrate professional behavior, follow instructions from leadership, participate in training and adhere to attendance policies
