Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least three years of professional painting experience
- valid driver’s license
- certifications required by state and local jurisdictions if performing service technician duties
- ability to travel between Richmond and Williamsburg, VA
- physical capability to perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Three or more years of professional painting experience
- valid driver’s license
- ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- knowledge of safety and risk management policies
- ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds
- effective communication skills
- ability to follow safety and operational procedures
Job Duties
- Complete assigned painting requests from ownership and property leaders
- perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing and addressing defects
- prepare vacant apartments for leasing including inspections and coordinating vendors
- manage inventory of materials and tools, ensuring timely reordering
- document service requests accurately and timely
- maintain grounds and common areas through cleaning and painting tasks
- support cost-cutting by repairing instead of replacing and minimizing waste
- comply with safety policies and attend safety meetings
- inspect and verify quality of contractors’ work
- assist in periodic property inspections to identify issues
