Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years professional painting experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel between Richmond and Williamsburg, VA
  • Ability to lift weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions if performing service technician duties

Job Qualifications

  • Professional painting experience of 3 plus years
  • Valid driver's license if operating a golf cart on property
  • Understands and complies with safety regulations including OSHA
  • Ability to conduct inspections and coordinate with vendors and contractors
  • Experience in maintenance and painting tasks
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Completes assigned painting requests
  • Performs preventative maintenance by diagnosing and addressing defects
  • Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing including inspections and maintenance
  • Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities including cleaning and painting
  • Supports cost-cutting through repair and careful material use
  • Completes documentation and paperwork accurately and timely
  • Participates in safety meetings and complies with safety policies
