Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of management and supervisory experience
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and a functioning automobile
- Ability to read, understand and communicate in English
- Mathematical skills sufficient for preparing forecasts and reports
- Proficiency with computers and front desk management systems
- Ability to work flexible and long hours
- Ability to travel extensively within the market
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to undergo training and adhere to company policies
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years management and supervisory experience

- Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and functioning automobile
- Ability to read, speak, write and understand English
- Ability to interpret reports and internal hotel information
- Sufficient mathematical skills for financial calculations and reporting
- General computer proficiency and knowledge of Front Office management
- Knowledge of department operations, service standards, guest relations and upselling techniques
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work long hours and manage multiple activities
- Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
- Salesmanship and knowledge of local competitive landscape
Job Duties
- Operate properties in the absence of a General Manager as needed
- Follow General Manager Daily Flow when acting as a General Manager
- Develop expertise on computer operating system
- Assist in recruitment of General Managers and other property staff
- Train, develop and support property staff
- Drive sales through sales calls and local marketing at the direction of Regional Operations Manager
- Ensure excellent guest service
- Identify and manage repair and maintenance issues
- Identify and follow up on life/safety and inspection issues
- Notify Regional Operations Manager immediately of safety, security and/or policy violations
- Notify Regional Operations Manager of guest concerns
- Monitor competitors in markets as directed by Regional Operations Manager
- Help meet budgets through effective cost and inventory control
- Help properties maximize financial performance
- Travel and/or overnight stay as required
