Job Requirements

  • Minimum three months of previous food service experience
  • ability to read, write and follow instructions
  • ability to count cash and make change
  • ability to use calculator and computerized cash register
  • availability to work 1:30 pm to 10 pm Friday through Tuesday
  • ability to operate kitchen equipment including POS terminal, grill, deep fryer, ovens, mixers
  • willingness to work flexible assignments and locations
  • ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • ability to use calculator, food thermometer and computerized cash register
  • minimum of three months previous food service experience
  • experience working with fresh dough products may be required for some positions
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to operate various kitchen equipment

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of simple foods, casseroles, convenience foods
  • clean and prepare lettuce and other ingredients to make salads
  • make French fries, hot and cold sandwiches, coffee, cook eggs, omelets, burgers
  • slice meat, cut cake, pie
  • serve food on serving line including sandwich bars, hot lines, salad bar
  • use computerized cash register terminal to add cost of food, collect money, make change
  • balance and reconcile cash to cash register tapes
  • maintain cashier islands including restocking condiments, cleaning tables, chairs
  • prepare assorted fresh dough pizzas according to franchise specifications
  • receive stock and check deliveries against order forms and delivery documents
  • rotate and date stock
  • move items from storage areas to kitchen
  • take weekly inventory of products in storeroom, freezer, cooler
  • wash dishes, cooking utensils, counter space
  • observe safety and health regulations and maintain sanitation standards
