Job Requirements
- Must have open availability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to follow safety and precaution rules
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions including exposure to chemicals and outdoor weather
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Ability to notify supervisors promptly about maintenance or unsafe conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is an advantage but not mandatory
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physical capability to perform cleaning duties including lifting
- Good communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights or weekends if needed
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
Job Duties
- Must have open availability
- Clean the interior of buildings including floors carpets rugs windows and walls and general tasks
- Vacuum sweep and mop floors in offices rooms hallways lobbies lounges elevators stairs locker rooms and other work areas
- Clean stains from chairs and upholstered furniture
- Keep furniture free of dust as well as lighting fixtures marble surfaces and moldings
- Empty trash cans and clean trash cans and ashtrays
- Disinfect commonly used items such as desks door handles office tools and phones
- Clean and maintain restrooms and replenish supplies where required
- Wash and clean windows and mirrors
- Empty trash and recycling containers to the disposal area
- Clean trash and snow from sidewalks if necessary
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request missing materials from supervisors
- Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or maintenance needs
- Maintain a cleaning chart indicating areas cleaned and inspected
- Follow safety and precaution rules
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Close doors at the end of the night shift
