Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least three months of food service experience
- Ability to operate various kitchen equipment including grill, deep fryer, convection oven, steamer, dishwasher, deck ovens, mixer, steam kettle, tilt brazier, buffalo chopper, and charcoal broiler
- Flexibility to work various shifts and hours including weekends and evenings
- Physical ability to perform duties associated with cashier, snack bar helper, cook helper, pizza maker, storeroom attendant, and food handler positions
- Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Ability to count cash, make change, and communicate effectively with the public
- Ability to use a calculator, food thermometer, and computerized cash register
- Minimum of three months previous food service experience
- Experience working with fresh dough products preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail in food preparation and sanitation procedures
Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of simple foods including casseroles and convenience foods
- Clean and prepare lettuce and other ingredients for salads
- Make French fries, hot and cold sandwiches, coffee, cook eggs, omelets, and burgers
- Slice meat and cut cakes and pies
- Serve food on various serving lines including sandwich bars, hot lines, and salad bars
- Use a computerized cash register to process payments including making change
- Balance and reconcile cash with cash register tapes
- Maintain cashier areas by restocking condiments and cleaning tables and chairs
- Prepare fresh dough pizzas according to franchise specifications
- Receive stock and verify deliveries against order forms
- Rotate and date stock to ensure use before expiration
- Move items from storage to kitchen as directed
- Take weekly inventory of storeroom, freezer, and cooler products
- Wash dishes, cooking utensils, and kitchen counter spaces
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation regulations
