Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least three months of food service experience
  • Ability to operate various kitchen equipment including grill, deep fryer, convection oven, steamer, dishwasher, deck ovens, mixer, steam kettle, tilt brazier, buffalo chopper, and charcoal broiler
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and hours including weekends and evenings
  • Physical ability to perform duties associated with cashier, snack bar helper, cook helper, pizza maker, storeroom attendant, and food handler positions
  • Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
  • Ability to count cash, make change, and communicate effectively with the public
  • Ability to use a calculator, food thermometer, and computerized cash register
  • Minimum of three months previous food service experience
  • Experience working with fresh dough products preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail in food preparation and sanitation procedures

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of simple foods including casseroles and convenience foods
  • Clean and prepare lettuce and other ingredients for salads
  • Make French fries, hot and cold sandwiches, coffee, cook eggs, omelets, and burgers
  • Slice meat and cut cakes and pies
  • Serve food on various serving lines including sandwich bars, hot lines, and salad bars
  • Use a computerized cash register to process payments including making change
  • Balance and reconcile cash with cash register tapes
  • Maintain cashier areas by restocking condiments and cleaning tables and chairs
  • Prepare fresh dough pizzas according to franchise specifications
  • Receive stock and verify deliveries against order forms
  • Rotate and date stock to ensure use before expiration
  • Move items from storage to kitchen as directed
  • Take weekly inventory of storeroom, freezer, and cooler products
  • Wash dishes, cooking utensils, and kitchen counter spaces
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation regulations
