Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service
- Assist with bakery operations including preparation, baking, merchandising, and final presentation of bakery products
- Run the department in the absence of the bakery manager
- Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining product availability, quality, service, and sanitary conditions
- Maintain proper variety and presentation of products to meet customer needs
- Adhere to all corporate and state sanitation regulations
- Fulfill all customer special orders
- Assist in training and development of bakery associates
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety
- Assist the bakery manager in maintaining inventory levels
- Learn and manage financial aspects of the bakery including paperwork, weekly shrink, transfer sales, and budgets
- Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
