Job Duties

  • Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service
  • Assist with bakery operations including preparation, baking, merchandising, and final presentation of bakery products
  • Run the department in the absence of the bakery manager
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining product availability, quality, service, and sanitary conditions
  • Maintain proper variety and presentation of products to meet customer needs
  • Adhere to all corporate and state sanitation regulations
  • Fulfill all customer special orders
  • Assist in training and development of bakery associates
  • Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety
  • Assist the bakery manager in maintaining inventory levels
  • Learn and manage financial aspects of the bakery including paperwork, weekly shrink, transfer sales, and budgets
  • Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
