Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2000 hours total flight time
- At least 1500 hours helicopter time
- 1000 hours as helicopter pilot in command
- 500 hours turbine time
- 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
- Commercial rotorcraft-helicopter certificate
- Rotorcraft-helicopter instrument rating
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Must meet weight limit of 230 pounds dressed in flight suit and boots
Job Qualifications
- 2000 hours total flight time
- 1500 hours helicopter time
- 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
- 500 hours turbine time
- 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
- Previous HEMS experience or equivalent preferred
- Commercial rotorcraft-helicopter certificate
- Rotorcraft-helicopter instrument rating
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast paced environment
- Exhibits professionalism and ethics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking skills to identify alternative solutions
- 230 pound weight limit dressed in flight suit and boots
Job Duties
- Operate the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner with compliance to the rotorcraft flight manual
- Monitor forecast changes and current weather situations
- Conduct preflight inspections prior to shifts and flights
- Note discrepancies in the engineering log and notify maintenance
- Report any major malfunctions, aircraft damage, or injured personnel to the Operations Center
- Ensure the aircraft remains clean and transport ready
- Submit all appropriate paperwork in a neat and timely manner
