Job Requirements

  • 2000 hours total flight time
  • 1500 hours helicopter time
  • 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
  • 500 hours turbine
  • 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
  • commercial rotorcraft-helicopter certificate
  • rotorcraft-helicopter instrument rating
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast paced environment
  • professionalism and ethical conduct
  • excellent communication skills
  • critical thinking skills
  • 230 pound weight limit dressed in flight suit and boots

Job Qualifications

  • 2000 hours total flight time

  • 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
  • Previous HEMS experience or equivalent preferred
  • One year experience as a pilot with a GMR company preferred
  • Commercial rotorcraft-helicopter certificate
  • Rotorcraft-helicopter instrument rating
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Professionalism with ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Provide relief support for Base Line Pilots during scheduled absences
  • Operate company aircraft in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with federal and company regulations
  • Monitor weather changes and forecast conditions to ensure flight safety
  • Conduct thorough preflight inspections of aircraft using the Rotorcraft Flight Manual
  • Document any aircraft discrepancies in the engineering log and notify maintenance promptly
  • Report major malfunctions, aircraft damage, or personnel injuries immediately to Operations Center
  • Maintain aircraft cleanliness and ensure all transport and flight paperwork is completed accurately and timely
