Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter certificate
  • Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument rating
  • 2000 hours total flight time
  • 1500 hours helicopter time
  • 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
  • 500 hours turbine experience
  • 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 230 pound weight limit dressed in flight suit and boots

Job Qualifications

  • 2000 hours total flight time
  • 1500 hours helicopter time
  • 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
  • 500 hours turbine experience
  • 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
  • Previous HEMS experience preferred
  • One year experience as a pilot with a GMR company preferred
  • Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter certificate
  • Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument rating
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Exhibits professionalism and ethical behavior
  • Maintains confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking with ability to use logic and identify alternative solutions

Job Duties

  • Operate the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner with compliance to Rotorcraft Flight Manual
  • Monitor forecast changes and current weather situations
  • Conduct preflight inspections prior to shifts and flights using rotorcraft flight manual
  • Report discrepancies noted during preflight to maintenance with corrective actions
  • Report major malfunctions, aircraft damage, or injured personnel to Operations Center promptly
  • Ensure aircraft remains clean and transport ready
  • Submit all paperwork accurately and timely
