Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter certificate
  • Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument rating
  • 2000 hours total flight time
  • 1500 hours helicopter time
  • 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
  • 500 hours turbine experience
  • 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Exhibits professionalism, ethical conduct and maintains confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills using logic and reasoning to solve problems
  • Maximum weight limit of 230 pounds dressed in flight suit and boots

Job Qualifications

  • 2000 hours total flight time
  • 1500 hours helicopter time
  • 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
  • 500 hours turbine experience
  • 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
  • Previous HEMS experience or equivalent preferred
  • One year experience as a pilot with a GMR company preferred
  • Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter certificate
  • Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument rating
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Exhibits professionalism, ethics and confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills to identify solutions

Job Duties

  • Operates the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner with emphasis on compliance with the rotorcraft flight manual
  • Monitors forecast changes and current weather situations
  • Conducts preflight inspections prior to shifts and before accepting transports or flights
  • Notes discrepancies and reports major malfunctions or aircraft damage to the Operations Center promptly
  • Ensures aircraft cleanliness and transport readiness
  • Submits all required flight and maintenance paperwork in a timely manner
  • Reports any injured personnel immediately
