Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare or customer service related fields
- Ability to maintain professionalism and positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail oriented and organized
- Capable of multitasking in a busy environment
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Willingness to participate in Tuberculosis screening program
- Work scheduled for 40 hours per week
- Pass any required background checks or screenings
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred but not required
- Strong customer service background considered
- Passion for improving patient care experiences
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Receive and route incoming and outgoing telephone calls accurately and courteously
- Greet visitors, determine the purpose of their visit, issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs
- Alert appropriate personnel of visitor arrival or direct visitors to proper offices
- Respond to routine inquiries regarding the organization's location, hours, contact information
- Manage switchboard or multi-line phone operations including maintaining long distance call logs
- Perform basic clerical and administrative tasks such as booking meeting rooms, handling mail and courier packages
- Take and distribute accurate messages for staff members
