Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in aviation, aerospace, or related field
- Five years of progressively responsible flight instruction experience
- At least two years of management experience in flight training
- Flight experience meeting 14 CFR §141.35(b)-(d) requirements for Chief Instructor
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate (ASEL, AMEL, Instrument-Airplane)
- FAA Flight Instructor Certificate (ASE, AME, Instrument-Airplane)
- Current 2nd Class FAA Medical Certificate

Job Duties
- Supervise assistant flight training managers and staff flight instructors in course administration
- Serve as liaison to FAA and TSA regarding flight training operations
- Perform stage checks, end-of-course checks, flight instructor upgrades, and ground training
- Develop, manage, and update flight training course outlines
- Teach Flight Instructor Fundamentals course as assigned
- Coordinate with the Director of Aerospace - Airport Operations to assess and forecast program needs
- Perform administrative tasks related to flight training operations
