Job Requirements

  • High school graduate
  • ideally have a bachelor's degree
  • minimum of three years operating experience with an airline
  • possess or have held FAA ATP or commercial instrument rating multi-engine with Airbus aircraft
  • ideally possess A320, A330, or A350 type rating
  • minimum 4000 total flight hours
  • minimum 1500 hours in jet category aircraft
  • minimum 1500 hours as pilot in command
  • fluent in English
  • simulator instructor experience as SFI or TRI on A320, A330, or A350
  • ability to write progress reports

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate ideally with a BS or BA
  • three years experience operating with an airline
  • hold or have held an FAA ATP or Commercial instrument rating Multi Engine with an Airbus Aircraft
  • ideally holding an A320, A330 or A350 type rating
  • at least 4000 hours total time
  • minimum 1500 hours in a jet category aircraft
  • minimum 1500 hours as a pilot in command
  • fluency in English to teach, brief and debrief
  • substantial simulator instructor experience as SFI or TRI on A320, A330 or A350
  • ability to write progress reports for submission to airlines or authorities

Job Duties

  • Delivering training while adhering to Airbus standard policy and standardization as required by Airbus Flight Training Operations
  • instructing trainees on the various training devices
  • providing an evaluation of the crews progression
  • producing a written report and grading of the trainees performance at the end of each session
  • determining the necessity to provide extra training in order to achieve the desired level of proficiency
  • participating in the improvement and development of training documentation
