Job Requirements

  • High school graduate
  • Ideally possess a BS/BA degree
  • Minimum three years experience operating with an airline
  • Hold or have held FAA ATP or Commercial instrument rating multi-engine with Airbus aircraft
  • Ideally hold an A320, A330 or A350 type rating
  • At least 4000 hours total time
  • Minimum 1500 hours in jet category aircraft
  • Minimum 1500 hours as pilot in command
  • Fluent in English for teaching, briefing and debriefing
  • Substantial simulator instructor experience as an SFI/TRI on A320, A330 or A350
  • Able to write progress reports for airline and authority submission

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate ideally with a BS/BA
  • Three years operating experience with an airline
  • Hold or have held an FAA ATP or Commercial instrument rating multi-engine with an Airbus aircraft
  • Ideally hold an A320, A330 or A350 type rating
  • At least 4000 hours total flight time
  • Minimum 1500 hours in a jet category aircraft
  • Minimum 1500 hours as pilot in command
  • Fluent English speaking, teaching, briefing and debriefing skills
  • Substantial simulator instructor experience as an SFI/TRI on A320, A330 or A350
  • Able to write progress reports for airlines and authorities

Job Duties

  • Deliver training while adhering to Airbus standard policy and standardization as required by Airbus Flight Training Operations
  • Instruct trainees on various training devices
  • Provide an evaluation of crew progression
  • Produce written reports and grade trainee performance at the end of each session
  • Determine the necessity for extra training to achieve desired proficiency levels
  • Participate in the improvement and development of training documentation
