Job Requirements
- Five years flight safety experience
- Advanced degree with Aviation Safety specialty or equivalent experience
- Prior flight test experience
- Comprehensive data analysis and statistical skills
- Previous experience with Safety Management System, Safety Risk Management, and Safety Assurance
- Demonstrated working experience with FAA, NTSB, or military

Job Duties
- Manage the Flight Test Safety program working with Flight Test and Flight Test Maintenance with oversight from the Technical Safety Lead
- Develop a robust Flight Test Safety Management System integrated with the Enterprise SMS
- Maintain the Flight Test Emergency Response Plan and conduct periodic drills
- Participate in Flight Test planning and operations to provide safety input and oversight
- Conduct audits of flight test operations and procedures for compliance and effectiveness
- Facilitate and lead the Flight Test Safety Committee in investigating incidents and ensuring corrective actions
- Work to continuously improve flight test safety through Safety Risk Management and safety promotion
- Interface with regulators and external agencies when required
- Prepare presentations, analyses, and reports for safety boards and committees
- Support broader company safety programs and flight operations demonstrations
- Other duties as assigned
