Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of respiratory care experience in ER or ICU within last 18 months
  • State Respiratory Care Practitioner License
  • CRITT certification
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • NRP certification prior to flight status
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider training provided during orientation
  • Must obtain trauma certification within 12 months of hire
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Assess situations to determine best respiratory care actions
  • Utilize critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured patients
  • Maintain safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment
  • Conduct regular equipment and base safety checks
  • Communicate effectively with air and ground teams
  • Provide accurate documentation and shift change reports
  • Maintain required certifications and complete ongoing training
