Job Requirements

  • U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
  • possession of unrestricted ATP certificate
  • minimum 4,000 total flight hours
  • minimum 1,000 hours Pilot in Command in fixed-wing jet or turboprop
  • current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • valid passport and documentation for U.S. entry after international flights
  • authorization to work in the U.S.
  • ability to pass required drug screenings
  • willingness to relocate
  • commitment to safety and teamwork

Job Qualifications

  • Current unrestricted ATP certificate with airplane category multi-engine class rating
  • minimum 4,000 total flight hours
  • minimum 1,000 Pilot in Command hours in fixed-wing jet or multi-engine turboprop
  • current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • valid passport and authorization to work in the U.S.
  • previous leadership or management experience in military or aviation industry
  • proficiency in English
  • bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
  • training or instructor experience preferred
  • 14 CFR Part 121 airline or equivalent military management experience desired

Job Duties

  • Manage and lead a Flight Operations team
  • fly UPS aircraft as a certified Flight Qualified Captain or First Officer
  • oversee UPS Airlines FAA Operating Certificate compliance
  • contribute to Technical and Safety Teams
  • support Daily Operations Team activities
  • participate in Chief Pilot Division and Flight Training Division responsibilities
  • ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements
