Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years recent experience in busy 911 or flight setting
- Weight not to exceed 225 pounds including flight suit and boots
- Registered EMT-P license for relevant states
- Specialty certification within two years
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, ITLS or PHTLS certifications
- Completion of advanced trauma course and NRP certification
- NIMS training upon hire
- Ability to work flexible schedule including 24/7 on-call
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Maintain positive interpersonal relationships and collaboration skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least three years experience in a busy 911 system
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred
- Registered EMT-P licensed in served states
- National Certification as required
- Specialty certification (FP-C or CCP-C) within two years of hire
- Current BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Advanced provider ITLS or PHTLS certification
- Completion of approved advanced trauma course
- NRP certification prior to third-rider orientation
- NIMS Training IS 100, 200, 700, 800 and HazMat upon hire
- Strong critical thinking and reasoning skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Job Duties
- Provide high quality pre-hospital advanced life support including assessment, triage, and treatment
- Maintain thorough patient care documentation
- Practice within state scope of practice and participate in ongoing education
- Maintain documentation of certifications, licenses, and training
- Operate and maintain medical equipment and supplies
- Participate in patient and referring institution follow-up and outreach
- Assist pilot with pre-mission tasks and comply with safety standards
