Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years experience in a 911 or critical care setting
  • current paramedic certification
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to work flexible hours and fill open shifts
  • proficient in patient care documentation
  • physically able to perform duties required in medical flight operations
  • compliance with safety standards and protocols

Job Qualifications

  • certified paramedic with advanced life support credentials
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to maintain patient care documentation
  • knowledge of emergency medical equipment and safety practices
  • able to participate in ongoing education and skills maintenance
  • experience in medical flight operations preferred

Job Duties

  • Completion and submission of electronic patient care records within specified time frame
  • perform daily base checks including narcotic count
  • provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care
  • maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences
  • document licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and advanced procedures
  • manage and maintain emergency equipment and supplies
  • foster positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues and external partners
  • participate as a medical flight team member
  • attend pre-mission briefings and mission debriefings
  • assist in pre-mission liftoff checklist and pilot support activities
  • comply with safety standards to ensure safety of all personnel and equipment
  • conduct aircraft safety briefings
  • fill open or vacant shifts as assigned
