Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-3 years relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Citrix
  • Ability to use technology for information management
  • Understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Familiarity with company policies and flight operations management

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • 1-3 years experience required
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft products such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Thorough knowledge of Citrix
  • Ability to utilize all available technology to create, edit and maintain necessary information
  • Intermediate understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and their application in daily operations
  • Advanced understanding of company policies and procedures including Inflight and Flight Ops Performance Management Policy
  • Must display professionalism, confidentiality, and good judgment at all times
  • Ability to interact positively and constructively with crewmembers, supervisors, and management
  • Adaptability to various work schedules and times
  • Ability to adjust thought processes in line with industry and company growth
  • Capable of exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally and/or negligible force frequently to move objects and occasional periods of sitting with brief walking or standing

Job Duties

  • Support Spirit Airlines flight operations by ensuring all aircraft have current and compliant flight deck manuals, written procedures, international documents, and charts in accordance with FAA regulations
  • Coordinate with other bases to distribute aircraft manuals, documents, and charts
  • Assign and track timely follow-ups on delays and Department of Transportation complaints across all crew bases
  • Create tracking sheets for Base Chief Pilots to monitor attendance, reliability, and compliance checks
  • Maintain Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware inventory and ensure software functionality and device readiness
  • Assist pilots with EFB related needs and collaborate with the EFB administration team for reporting
  • Distribute key notifications to aircrews including master records, pay reports, training records, and discrepancy reports
  • Maintain and post visual displays and status boards in crew rooms
  • Manage company-paid domicile parking accounts for pilots, resolve issues, and conduct monthly audits
  • Provide guidance to pilots on base operations and serve as first-level approver for expense reports
  • Assist with research, scheduling, and delivery of Notices of Investigation
  • Coordinate delay records and attend airport-specific meetings
  • Ensure crew room is stocked with necessary supplies and contractual obligations are met
  • Monitor pilot leave usage and report suspected non-compliance
  • Conduct wellness checks and assist with pilot bereavement and jury duty leaves
  • Manage fleet launch and delay reports, participate in delay mitigation efforts, and conduct ramp walks to identify operational issues
  • Provide support to Spirit airline operations as needed
  • Assist with pilot retirement flight arrangements, HIMS meetings, and lost-and-found items
  • Collect pilot statements and reports for incidents including DOT tarmac delays, aircraft logbook errors, social media, and inflight statements
