Job Requirements

  • experience, education, or training interpreting, explaining, and applying basic transportation program rules and regulations
  • experience using computer and automation systems
  • at least 18 months experience arranging and interpreting transportation directives and regulations
  • experience applying directives and regulations governing transportation
  • experience verifying legal entitlements or official travel authorizations
  • experience planning and organizing work
  • enlisted military rank of E7 or below

Job Duties

  • interpret and apply transportation program rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • use computer and automation systems for flight operations
  • arrange and interpret directives and regulations for transportation of personnel, cargo, or freight
  • verify legal entitlements or official authorizations for travel
  • secure carrier guides and official schedules, fares, and accommodations information
  • plan and organize the work of others
  • coordinate transportation logistics within military flight operations
