Job Requirements
- ability to work in confined and mobile critical care transport environments
- effective communication skills with patients, families, and team members
- ability to remain calm under stress
- swift response to communication
- critical thinking and decision-making skills
- physical ability to twist, squat, stoop, bend, grasp, push, and pull
- capability to lift at least 50 lbs independently
- exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous chemicals
- ability to safely mix and administer medications
- graduate of accredited school of nursing
- valid nursing license in all states served
- minimum 3 years experience as registered nurse in high acuity setting
- current BLS, ACLS, PALS at hire
- NRP certification within 3 months
- advanced trauma course within 6 months
- CFRN or CTRN within 2 years
- completion of NIMS 100 and 200 within 1 year
- willingness to relocate within 2 hours of base
- valid driver’s license
- reliable attendance
Job Qualifications
- graduate of accredited school of nursing
- valid nursing license in all served states
- minimum of 3 years' experience in a high-acuity nursing setting
- current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications at hire
- completion of NRP certification within 3 months of hire
- advanced trauma course completed within 6 months of hire
- CFRN or CTRN certification within 2 years of employment
- completion of NIMS 100 and 200 courses within one year of hire
- valid driver's license
- willingness to live within 2 hours of assigned base
- regular and reliable attendance
