Job Requirements
- Three years of experience in emergency or adult critical care settings
- current licensed registered nurse in states served
- EMT certification where required
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification (provided during new hire training if needed)
- trauma certification where required
- ability to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
- commitment to punctuality and professionalism
Job Qualifications
- Licensed registered nurse with minimum three years experience in emergency or adult critical care settings
- current RN license valid in states served
- EMT certification where required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications prior to flight status
- trauma certification where applicable
- preferred prior flight experience
- instructor certifications in life support courses such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, ITLS, or PHTLS
- must obtain advanced certification such as CEN, CCRN, or CFRN within 24 months from hire date
Job Duties
- Assess each situation to determine best course of action for patient support
- utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients
- maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment
- perform regular equipment and base checks
- comply with safety standards and briefings
- communicate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
- share shift change information and maintain accurate documentation and records
