Job Requirements

  • Licensed registered nurse with minimum three years emergency or adult critical care experience
  • Current active RN license for states served
  • EMT certification where applicable
  • Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications
  • Commitment to safety and professionalism
  • Ability to work one 24-hour shift per week
  • Willingness to maintain and update all required certifications
  • Trauma certification where applicable
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team settings

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of experience in an emergency or adult critical care setting as a licensed RN
  • Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area
  • EMT certification in states where required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications prior to flight status
  • Trauma certification where required
  • Prior flight experience preferred
  • Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred
  • Advanced certification (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire

Job Duties

  • Assess patient conditions in flight and determine appropriate care
  • Utilize critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment
  • Conduct regular equipment and base checks to comply with safety standards
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, and medical facilities
  • Accurately complete company and regulatory documentation and records
  • Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing training
