Job Requirements

  • Three years of experience as a licensed registered nurse in an emergency or adult critical care setting
  • Current RN license valid in the states served
  • EMT certification in the state(s) where required
  • Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications prior to flight status
  • Willingness to obtain trauma certification if required
  • Commitment to maintain advanced certification within 24 months of hire
  • Ability to work full-time with flexibility and reliability
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism
  • Compliance with safety and operational protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Licensed registered nurse with three years of experience in an emergency or adult critical care setting
  • Current RN license valid in the states served by the assigned area
  • EMT certification where state regulations require it
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP prior to flight status (NRP provided during new hire training)
  • Trauma certification where required
  • Prior flight experience preferred
  • Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred
  • Advanced certification such as CEN, CCRN, or CFRN required within 24 months of hire

Job Duties

  • Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians' orders
  • Provide and maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, conducting regular equipment and base checks
  • Collaborate and communicate professionally with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
  • Share shift change information with transitioning team members and ensure accurate company and regulatory documentation
  • Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing training to meet regulatory and company standards
  • Exhibit punctuality, reliability, professionalism, and uphold elevated safety and service standards
