Job Requirements

  • Three years of experience in an emergency or adult critical care setting as a licensed RN
  • Current RN license in states served by the assigned area
  • EMT certification in states where required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certification prior to flight status
  • Trauma certification where required

Job Qualifications

  • Trauma certification where required
  • Prior flight experience preferred
  • Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred
  • Advanced certification (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) required within 24 months of hire

Job Duties

  • Assess situations to determine best course of action for critical care patients
  • Utilize critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients
  • Provide a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment
  • Maintain equipment and base safety checks
  • Communicate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, and facilities
  • Share shift change information and maintain accurate documentation
  • Maintain required certifications and ongoing training
