Job Requirements

  • Three years of experience in an emergency or adult critical care setting as a licensed RN
  • Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area
  • EMT certification in state(s) where required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required prior to flight status
  • Trauma certification where required

  • Trauma certification where required
  • Prior flight experience preferred
  • Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred
  • Advanced certification (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire

Job Duties

  • Assess patients to determine best course of action for support, monitoring and treatment in critical care situations
  • Utilize critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians' orders
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment
  • conduct regular equipment and base checks
  • Comply with safety standards and briefings
  • Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners
  • Share shift change information and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records
  • Maintain required certifications and ongoing training necessary for the position
  • Commit to punctuality, reliability, professionalism and uphold elevated safety and service standards
