Job Requirements
- Licensed registered nurse with three years of experience in an emergency or adult critical care setting
- Current RN license valid in the state(s) of assignment
- EMT certification as required by state regulations
- Certification in BLS ACLS PALS and NRP prior to active flight duty
- Ability to maintain trauma certification if required
- Commitment to ongoing training and certification renewals
- Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with multidisciplinary teams
Job Qualifications
- Three years of experience in emergency or adult critical care setting as a licensed RN
- Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area
- EMT certification in state(s) where required
- BLS ACLS PALS NRP required prior to flight status
- Trauma certification where required
- Prior flight experience preferred
- Instructor certifications in BLS ACLS PALS/PEPP ITLS/PHTLS preferred
- Advanced certification (CEN CCRN CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire
Job Duties
- Assess each situation to determine best course of action to support monitor and treat patients in critical care situations
- Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians orders
- Maintain a safe clean and well-stocked aircraft environment and perform regular equipment and base checks
- Communicate professionally and collaboratively with air and ground teams dispatch flight crews facilities and partners
- Share shift change information and maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records
- Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position
- Commit to being on-time reliable professional and meet elevated standards in safety and service
