Job Requirements

  • Licensed registered nurse with three years of experience in an emergency or adult critical care setting
  • Current RN license valid in the state(s) of assignment
  • EMT certification as required by state regulations
  • Certification in BLS ACLS PALS and NRP prior to active flight duty
  • Ability to maintain trauma certification if required
  • Commitment to ongoing training and certification renewals
  • Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with multidisciplinary teams

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of experience in emergency or adult critical care setting as a licensed RN
  • Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area
  • EMT certification in state(s) where required
  • BLS ACLS PALS NRP required prior to flight status
  • Trauma certification where required
  • Prior flight experience preferred
  • Instructor certifications in BLS ACLS PALS/PEPP ITLS/PHTLS preferred
  • Advanced certification (CEN CCRN CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire

Job Duties

  • Assess each situation to determine best course of action to support monitor and treat patients in critical care situations
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians orders
  • Maintain a safe clean and well-stocked aircraft environment and perform regular equipment and base checks
  • Communicate professionally and collaboratively with air and ground teams dispatch flight crews facilities and partners
  • Share shift change information and maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records
  • Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position
  • Commit to being on-time reliable professional and meet elevated standards in safety and service
