Job Requirements

  • Three years of experience in an emergency or adult critical care setting as a licensed RN
  • Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area
  • EMT certification in state(s) where required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certification prior to flight status (NRP provided during new hire training)
  • Trauma certification where required

Job Qualifications

  • Licensed registered nurse with three years of experience in an emergency or adult critical care setting
  • Current RN license in the state(s) served by the assigned area
  • Certified EMT in required states
  • Certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP prior to flight status (NRP certification provided during new hire training)
  • Trauma certification where required
  • Preferred prior flight experience
  • Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
  • Advanced certification (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire

Job Duties

  • Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians' orders
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, conduct regular equipment and base checks, and comply with safety standards and briefings
  • Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners
  • Share shift change information with transitioning teams and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records
  • Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing training
  • Demonstrate commitment to punctuality, reliability, professionalism, and elevated standards in safety and service
