Job Requirements
- Active RN license in the states served
- Minimum three years' emergency or adult critical care nursing experience
- EMT certification where required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications prior to flight status
- Trauma certification where required
- Commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams
Job Qualifications
- Licensed RN with current state licenses
- Minimum three years of experience in emergency or adult critical care settings
- EMT certification where required by state
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications
- Trauma certification where required
- Prior flight experience preferred
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred
- Advanced certifications such as CEN, CCRN, CFRN preferred or required within 24 months of hire
Job Duties
- Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations
- Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians' orders
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment
- Conduct regular equipment and base checks
- Comply with safety standards and briefings
- Communicate effectively and professionally with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, and medical facilities
- Share shift change information and maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation
- Stay current with required certifications and training
