Job Requirements
- Licensed registered nurse with three years experience in emergency or adult critical care setting
- current RN license in states served
- EMT certification where required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications prior to flight status
- trauma certification where required
- ability to comply with safety standards and protocols
- willingness to maintain certifications and ongoing training
- ability to work two 24-hour shifts per week
- ability to live in company provided crew housing during shifts
- punctual, reliable, professional
- strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Three years of experience in emergency or adult critical care setting as a licensed RN
- current RN license in states served
- EMT certification where required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications prior to flight status
- trauma certification where required
- prior flight experience preferred
- instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred
- advanced certification (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) required within 24 months of hire
Job Duties
- Assess patient condition to determine best course of action
- utilize critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients
- maintain safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment
- conduct regular equipment and base checks
- comply with safety standards and briefings
- communicate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
- share shift change information and maintain accurate documentation and records
- maintain required certifications and ongoing training
- be punctual, reliable, and professional
- meet elevated safety and service standards
