Job Requirements

  • Willing to work any shift required
  • 1+ years of experience within aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing
  • 1+ years of experience in advising and influencing others to meet compliance, quality and safety requirements
  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • 1+ years of experience with Systematic Problem Solving and Standardized Work
  • 1+ years of experience requiring strong interpersonal skills
  • Must work 100% onsite in North Charleston, South Carolina
  • No relocation assistance provided

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading and working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Field Operations
  • Familiarity with Boeing Production System (BPS) concepts
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in advising and influencing others to meet compliance, quality and safety requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Systematic Problem Solving and Standardized Work

Job Duties

  • Partner with 787 Manufacturing Safety Team members as required
  • Facilitate compliance-related BPSMs and RSPSs for assigned areas
  • Understand relevant policies, processes, procedures, BPS criteria and expectations
  • Compile and report all performed compliance assessments using EPES and program standard processes
  • Support Focal meetings through facilitation, backup facilitation, or attendance
  • Support emergent compliance projects as requested by team leadership
  • Conduct assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
  • Analyze and interpret data
  • Provide feedback on assessment results
  • Work with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools
  • Implement strategies and plans at the appropriate level in the organization
