Job Requirements
- Must be a US citizen
- Government security clearance required with a secret clearance level
- Experience with production or manufacturing
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience working on the flight line
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work a first shift 4x10 hour days schedule
- Capacity to work onsite full-time at Marietta, GA facility
Job Qualifications
- Production or manufacturing experience
- Previous supervisory experience or experience leading others
- Flight line experience
- Appropriate degree from an accredited college or equivalent combined education
- Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics systems such as QADS, SFM, DIMS, and EMAP
- Engine run qualification history
- Advanced troubleshooting experience
- Experience managing in a union environment
- C-130J experience
- Fault code isolation and use of technical orders
- Ability to maintain adherence to procedures and pass audits
- Highly motivated and willing to drive change
- Strong computer and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Manages crews of represented mechanics and avionics technicians responsible for systems testing, and operational ground checks and flights
- Responsible for driving and adjusting work assignments to meet tactical and strategic goals
- Ensures that tasks are completed on schedule and within budget following procedures, schedules, and work plans
- Reviews work for overall quality and efficiency
- Administers and executes policies and procedures affecting individual employees
- Maintains area of responsibility and monitors housekeeping and tool control
- Completes end of shift shut down process and checklist
- Liaises with Flightline Operations leadership to ensure safety compliance
- Conducts scheduled and unscheduled safety audits, identifies risks, and applies mitigation
- Reviews training reports and addresses delinquencies and deficiencies
- Coordinates with training representatives to maximize learner throughput and maintain certification mix
- Coordinates with leadership to develop employee engagement activities
