- must possess current FAA Flight Instructor certificates and ratings
- must possess current FAA medical certificate
- CFII certification required
- philosophy compatible with a comprehensive community college

- bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training experience or certification
Job Duties
- teach students in classroom and flight settings
- conduct flight and ground training
- determine student proficiency
- document student progress and FAA training records
- maintain a safe training environment
- train students in aircraft systems operating procedures handling emergencies problem analysis navigation radio communications airport operations and aerodynamics
- adhere to FAA regulations and approved training syllabi
