Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education and job related experience
- Ability to work with flight students one-on-one and in a classroom setting
- FAA Certified Flight Instructor License
- Must have and maintain FAA Class II medical
- Valid driver's license
- Able to administer flight instruction
- Lift up to 45 lbs

- Ability to work with flight students one-on-one and in a classroom setting
Job Duties
- Administers FAA syllabus flight and ground instruction to university students
- Performs check rides IAW FAA prescribed guidelines
- Instructs ground school if required
- Administers FAA required ground tests
- Schedules training, stage checks and check rides
- Performs FAST flights (faculty and staff transportation)
- Assists in promoting the Department of Aviation
- Develops new courses and syllabi
- Helps with preventive maintenance of OU fleet aircraft
- Performs dispatching duties for daily flight operations
