Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- certificated flight instructor airplane single engine land (CFI)
- current Class III Medical
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- 1-2 years as a flight instructor
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- willingness to work in varied environments including outdoors and aircraft
- adherence to company security and data protection policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- certificated flight instructor airplane single engine land (CFI)
- current Class III Medical
- 1-2 years of experience as a flight instructor
- experience with flight instructor airplane single and multi-engine
- instruction on instrument airplane
- experience teaching technologically advanced aircraft in a Part 141 flight school or military undergraduate flight training as fully qualified instructor
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ability to work in various conditions including outdoors, hangar, office, ramp, aircraft, and classroom
Job Duties
- Conduct training (ground and flight duties) in accordance with FAA training requirements under FAR part 141
- provide ground instruction on aircraft systems, training maneuvers, procedures, and other flight related subjects
- conduct preflight and postflight debriefings and provide in-flight instruction
- execute flight training to USAF students resulting in Private Pilot Certification with Instrument privileges
- complete gradebook entries to ensure syllabus requirements are met
- serve as a mentor and professional developer to new aviators
- comply with all company security and data protection policies
