Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • certificated flight instructor airplane single engine land (CFI)
  • current Class III Medical
  • ability to lift 50 lbs
  • 1-2 years as a flight instructor
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • willingness to work in varied environments including outdoors and aircraft
  • adherence to company security and data protection policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • certificated flight instructor airplane single engine land (CFI)
  • current Class III Medical
  • 1-2 years of experience as a flight instructor
  • experience with flight instructor airplane single and multi-engine
  • instruction on instrument airplane
  • experience teaching technologically advanced aircraft in a Part 141 flight school or military undergraduate flight training as fully qualified instructor
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • ability to work in various conditions including outdoors, hangar, office, ramp, aircraft, and classroom

Job Duties

  • Conduct training (ground and flight duties) in accordance with FAA training requirements under FAR part 141
  • provide ground instruction on aircraft systems, training maneuvers, procedures, and other flight related subjects
  • conduct preflight and postflight debriefings and provide in-flight instruction
  • execute flight training to USAF students resulting in Private Pilot Certification with Instrument privileges
  • complete gradebook entries to ensure syllabus requirements are met
  • serve as a mentor and professional developer to new aviators
  • comply with all company security and data protection policies
