Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- certificated flight instructor single engine land (CFI) license
- current class III medical certificate
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- familiarity with Microsoft Office
- working conditions include outdoors, hangar, office, ramp, aircraft, classroom
- compliance with company security and data protection policies
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- certificated flight instructor single engine land (CFI) license
- current class III medical certificate
- experience of 1 - 2 years as a flight instructor
- knowledge of flight instructor airplane single and multi-engine and instrument airplane
- experience teaching technologically advanced aircraft in a Part 141 flight school or military undergraduate flight training experience as a fully qualified instructor
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
Job Duties
- conduct training (ground and flight duties) in accordance with FAA training requirements under FAR part 141
- provide ground instruction on aircraft systems, training maneuvers, procedures, and other flight-related subjects
- conduct preflight/postflight debriefings and provide in-flight instruction to ensure student comprehension
- execute flight training to USAF students resulting in Private Pilot Certification with Instrument privileges for Single and Multi-Engine Land Airplane
- complete gradebook entries to ensure syllabus requirements are met
