Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • certificated flight instructor single engine land (CFI) license
  • current class III medical certificate
  • ability to lift 50 lbs
  • familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • working conditions include outdoors, hangar, office, ramp, aircraft, classroom
  • compliance with company security and data protection policies

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • certificated flight instructor single engine land (CFI) license
  • current class III medical certificate
  • experience of 1 - 2 years as a flight instructor
  • knowledge of flight instructor airplane single and multi-engine and instrument airplane
  • experience teaching technologically advanced aircraft in a Part 141 flight school or military undergraduate flight training experience as a fully qualified instructor
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • conduct training (ground and flight duties) in accordance with FAA training requirements under FAR part 141
  • provide ground instruction on aircraft systems, training maneuvers, procedures, and other flight-related subjects
  • conduct preflight/postflight debriefings and provide in-flight instruction to ensure student comprehension
  • execute flight training to USAF students resulting in Private Pilot Certification with Instrument privileges for Single and Multi-Engine Land Airplane
  • complete gradebook entries to ensure syllabus requirements are met
