Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- current Colorado State EMT certification
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- IV certification within two months of hire
- completion of Emergency Vehicle Operator Course within six months of hire
- neonatal resuscitation program certification within 12 months of hire
- valid Colorado driver's license with no moving violations in past two years
- minimum one year experience as licensed EMT
- minimum one year experience driving ambulance or emergency vehicle
- minimum two years as licensed driver
- familiarity with local region
- ability to exert medium work involving lifting up to 50lbs occasionally

Job Duties
- operate Flight For Life ground ambulances in a safe and professional manner
- ensure compliance with maintenance schedules
- maintain daily readiness and cleanliness of vehicles
- provide patient care within ALS/BLS program and EMT scope of care
- assist other team members and Emergency Departments clinically
- coordinate with business office within EMT role
- participate in continuous training and certification renewals
