Job Requirements
- three years or 4,000 hours of experience as a paramedic provider in 911 ALS or critical care transport (ground or air) or 4,000 hours of critical care experience in-hospital
- high school diploma or GED
- Colorado State Paramedic Certification required and National Registry as a paramedic
- must maintain currency in all certifications by CAMTS
- basic life support and advanced cardiac life support through the American Heart Association required
- PALS required within six months of hire or transfer date
- TPATC or ATLS required within twelve months of hire or transfer date
- NRP required within twelve months of hire or transfer date
- FP-C required within two years of hire or transfer date
- medium work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- assist in meeting the physical and emotional needs of critically ill and injured patients
- promote safe and efficient operation of Flight For Life
- provide advanced assessment and critical care interventions during transport
- collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure quality patient care
- maintain current certifications and comply with CAMTS standards
- operate medical equipment and transport vehicles safely
- participate in training and professional development activities
