Job Requirements

  • FAA Aircraft Dispatcher license required
  • 1-3 years previous flight follower experience
  • must be 23 years of age or older
  • must have legal authorization to work in the United States
  • ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • knowledge of Part 121 regulations preferred
  • must be fluent in English
  • strong communication and analytical skills

Job Qualifications

  • FAA Aircraft Dispatcher license
  • familiarity with dispatching and call-routing software
  • knowledge of meteorology, aircraft navigation, instrumentation systems, and FAA regulations
  • 1-3 years flight follower experience preferred
  • excellent communication and analytical skills
  • proficient in Microsoft Office
  • ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Job Duties

  • Update and maintain flight schedule database
  • monitor each flight for departure, arrival, intermediate stops and route deviations
  • track maintenance and mechanical delays
  • assess conditions affecting flight safety
  • prepare and provide necessary flight data such as weather reports, NOTAMS, and weight and balance to crew
  • prepare and issue flight releases with Pilot in Command compliance under FAA regulations
  • monitor flight progress and initiate contact if deviations are needed
  • brief flight crew on mechanical discrepancies and operational status
  • report and record all safety and emergency irregularities
