Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Skilled in reading and writing English
- Capacity to communicate clearly on the radio and telephone
- Ability to record, transmit, and report information accurately
- Able to efficiently utilize all equipment assigned
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to understand basic computer applications
Job Qualifications
- FAA Dispatch license in good standing
- Experience in aircraft dispatch under Part 121 or Part 135 preferred
- Skilled in reading and writing English
- Capacity to communicate clearly on radio and telephone
- Ability to record, transmit, and report information accurately
- Able to efficiently utilize all assigned equipment
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to understand basic computer applications
- Foreign language skills preferred
- Experience with ForeFlight application preferred
Job Duties
- Ensures daily coverage is scheduled for the Flight Dispatch department
- Ensures all FAA and company regulations and policies are followed
- Maintains US Customs and company crewmember databases and ensures they are current
- Liaisons with US and international customs authorities
- Processes and ensures compliance with all TSA employee and passenger vetting requirements
- Ensures other company departments are aware of anything that could affect current or planned flight operations
- Maintains Continuous Quality Improvement data and prepares quarterly briefings
- Ensures all required aircraft documentation is current and on board
- Reviews and approves aircraft associated invoices
- Responsible for training Flight Dispatchers and reviewing their performance annually
- Performs Flight Dispatch duties including safe and compliant flight planning
- Monitors weather and operational conditions
- Secures overflight and operating permissions
- Coordinates customs activities and TSA compliance
- Builds trip flight packets
- Researches international locations as needed
