Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum three years EMS experience
- current paramedic license in Florida
- valid certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and PHTLS
- completed DOT approved flight physiology course
- ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- ability to perform patient transfers
- strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- availability for varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- current passport
- proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Job Qualifications
- Critical Care Paramedic certification (FP-C, CCEMT-P, approved critical care course, or ATP)
- three to four years related EMS experience
- current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, PHTLS certifications
- DOT approved flight physiology course
- Florida state paramedic licensure
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- strong communication and documentation skills
- ability to work collaboratively in high pressure environments
- current passport
- bilingual skills a plus
Job Duties
- Obtain medical reports and complete pre-flight checklists
- coordinate patient care and ensure proper documentation
- perform and document comprehensive patient assessments
- monitor patient vitals and treatments during transport
- communicate patient status with transport team and flight coordinators
- assist in equipment maintenance and restocking post-flight
- adhere to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
