Job Qualifications

- proficient with Microsoft Office 365 suite
- FOS Scheduling system knowledge preferred
- willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and variable schedules
Job Duties
- support flight crew members with operational control of flights
- preflight planning and delay management in compliance with federal regulations and company operations specifications
- collaborate within System Operations Control to ensure flight safety
- plan flights considering enroute winds and weather balancing safety and economy
- determine minimum fuel requirements including alternate airports
- provide preflight briefings with aircraft and flight status, airport conditions, and weather reports
- monitor flight progress and issue necessary information for flight safety
- cancel unsafe flights
- reroute or redirect flights based on economic considerations
- recommend flight plan alternatives
- coordinate aircraft diversions and recoveries
- negotiate with air traffic control for alternate routes and delay reductions
- provide operations expertise to Maintenance Department and System Operations Control
- monitor and process data from flight crewmembers and stations
- perform additional duties as assigned by management
