Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate clearly on radio and telephone
- Ability to record, transmit, and report information accurately
- Ability to efficiently utilize assigned equipment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good typing skills with speed and accuracy
- Basic computer application understanding
- Minimal medical or telecommunications experience or one year EMS or public safety dispatch experience preferred

- Preferred experience includes medical training or telecommunications or EMS/public safety dispatch experience
Job Duties
- Respond to customer needs accordingly
- Understand medical terminology and implement critical listening skills to process air transport requests
- Allocate air resources properly applying decision-making rules and approved protocols
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of paperwork prior to shift completion
- Accurately input data and generate applicable reports
- Assist in locating incident scenes using locator aids and select safest routes
- Relay instructions from supervisors and emergency messages
- Maintain current knowledge of company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Follow established formats in receiving service requests
- Use equipment including computers, printers, 911 systems, telephones efficiently
- Maintain professional growth through continuing education and training
- Uphold positive behaviors and strong commitment to customer service
- Comply with information system security policies
- Maintain department certifications and participate in quality improvement activities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
