Job Requirements

  • No required licensure or certifications
  • No prior experience required
  • Ability to work full time, 72 hours per pay period
  • Availability for day shifts

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of medical transport procedures is a plus

Job Duties

  • Receive and handle all customer requests for or about medical transports in a friendly, timely, and professional manner for air or ground transports
  • Determine priority and preferred transport mode for all incoming requests by established policies and procedures
  • Facilitate transition from one mode to another when primary mode is unavailable due to weather or maintenance
  • Assign and coordinate medical transports by aircraft operating under FAA Part 91 and FAA Part 135 rules and regulations and utilize other ground assets
  • Maintain data entries in the CAD for all requests, declines, cancels and out-of-service activities
  • Exercise critical thinking skills and decisive judgment within scope of job
  • Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment taking appropriate action
  • Monitor the location of all transport units at all times, ensuring safety as a priority
