Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree
  • At least two years aviation-related experience or travel agency experience
  • Basic understanding of aircraft performance and runway analysis
  • Proficient with personal computers including spreadsheets and electronic communication
  • Knowledge of complex computer software related to flight dispatching and logistic support
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of business applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Firm understanding and ownership of industry best practices including IS-BAO (International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations)
  • Basic understanding of UAS (unmanned aircraft systems) scheduling operations

Job Qualifications

  • Bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate
  • Private Pilot License

Job Duties

  • Works closely with support teams to receive requests for aircraft services and enter them into the flight scheduling system
  • Consistently collaborates with flight department team members to ensure operational consistency and enhanced customer service
  • Assists with arranging catering, ground transportation, aircraft services and lodging for crew and passengers
  • Maintains department records including flight, maintenance, financial, and personnel records
  • Prepares and retains trip packets for passengers and crew
  • Provides accounting services such as SIFL reporting, auditing, and submitting invoices for payment
  • Coordinates chartered aircraft services when necessary
  • Schedules flights to ensure flight crews are in compliance with company flight and duty time limitations
  • Maintains a flight following system to ensure aircraft safety
  • Coordinates flight and maintenance schedules with maintenance personnel
  • Maintains detailed department financial records and generate inter-company invoices
  • Maintains safety culture through open communication and engagement
