Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 20 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Height and weight must allow safe operation including sitting in jump seat and navigating cabin without modifications
  • Must possess valid US or foreign passport with applicable visas valid through at least December 31 2026
  • Must have legal right to work in the United States and ability to travel unrestricted to all served states and countries
  • Must be willing to relocate based on operational needs
  • Must be available to work nights weekends holidays and extended hours
  • Must be able to report for on call reserve duty at assigned base
  • Must professionally represent the American Airlines brand with no visible tattoos no more than one earring per ear and no facial piercings

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years customer service experience in retail hospitality food service education aviation or social services
  • Ability to read write make announcements give emergency orders and communicate fluently in English
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to perform all safety-related procedures
  • Service-oriented with a commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate positive attitude self-motivation and desire for success
  • Skilled in problem solving and adapting to dynamic environments

  • Ensuring the safety and comfort of every customer consistently following FAA regulations and company procedures
  • Responding with leadership and composure to emergency and non-emergency situations
  • Meeting high standards of dependability and professionalism to ensure on-time departures
  • Demonstrating adaptability and resilience handling long hours and irregular schedules
  • Adhering to company policies including uniform and appearance guidelines
  • Working independently while collaborating with the flight crew
  • Providing exceptional in-flight service including serving meals and selling onboard products
